About us
Established in the early 1970s by Edith a John Douglas in the small village of Crosshill in Fife, the business was initially established to provide transport for firewood. This led to us being contracted to carry coal for the then NCB (National Coal Board).
A petrol station in Crosshill was opened in the 1980s and we added road sweeping to our list of services.
Also in the mid 1980s we assisted in the construction of the A92 Dunfermline to Kirkcaldy link road and we added road planing and tipper hire to our portfolio.
Five years ago saw up move from Crosshill to Lochgelly to modern and expansive premises at Cartmore Industrial Estate. Now on site we have secure facilities including a purpose-built all-vehicle workshop where we maintain our modem fleet to VOSA standards.
Our success is attributed to maintaining a core focus on the services our clients need and we excel in every area of our business.
